Currently using Kaspersky, has saved my butt from Viruses plenty of times, haha. Bit Defender seems a bit dodgy to me, used it before.

Each one is best, all you have to do is daily update your antivirus and try to scan your pc once in a week.

I like Avast! the good. It's haven't gotten anything from it yet.

I would say however the best anti-virus is a smart mind. Don't go to websites where you'll get viruses, don't download anything that might be one, and use Linux :D

Nod32 All the way. Mix a little Malwarebytes in there and you are ready to go!

I have stopped buying antivirus software, and have been using Avira as well as Spyware Treminator for the last 3 odd years. Do not have any problems, and system does not seem too slow.

AVG gives good protection. its one of th eonyl ones that will interrupt tartup to get the viruses that load right at the start of your pc. most others cant's finx these. the downside is it's very hard to remove from your pc.

Avast has been my choice over the last couple of years, I find that it catches a lot more than AVG does. In those two years I have yet to get a virus that messed up my computer at all.

Avira is the best. False positives are extremely rare, it updates regularly, and the pop-ups (for free accounts) are barely even noticeable. Avira has never failed me ever since I started using it half a decade ago.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on two points.

    1. I think Norton is not so good these days. I tried it and was greatly let down.
    2. Kaspersky DOES have a somewhat high price, but when you're talking about the security and integrity of your data, can you really put a price on it?
