Got to agree with this. I have been using avast for over 3 years and it has always picked up and dealt with any virus. The interface is much better know and best of all its free

I wouldn't necessarily say any Antivirus is "better" than the other. Overall I would recommend a free one such as AVG or Avast because they can do just as much as paid antiviruses. Some antiviruses will detect a virus at times, while another one may not. It all varies really.

Kaspersky is one of the best anti virus Software available. I have even used Mcafee and and norton.

MCafee is not as effective as kaspersky and norton slow downs the system performance.

    So I recommend Kaspersky

I use nod antivirus for years and it's never let me down. This one time I had a machine almost shut down until I installed it and it removed the virus instantly. Amazing product for overall protection!

The best software that I am installed on my main system is Kaspersky Internet security.

But for those who are looking for really good free solution I recommend Microsoft security essentials, because it is deeply integrated in Windows and you won't see any unnecessary notifications, advertisements or any other annoying thing
