    I use Nod32 for my desktop and Kaspersky for my laptop. You can try both, I find them very effective.

    I use Kaspersky PURE which I think is absoultely fantastic. It's so cheap and has so many features and a great scanning system that detects so many viruses that other more popular AV programs don't detect.

    AVG was in top 5 anti virus 2011 and it's free. There's a paid version also but there isn't much difference, they use the free version as a marketing scheme. I personaly use AVG and think it's great, doesn't use up much CPU or anything.

    According to my personal experience AVG is really very best and awesome antivirus software to use in this world
    Its protection data base up to dated and its really working awesome in any condition.

    Don't cheap out, actually go buy a license, that 35$ a year is worth keeping your system up todate. I use Prevx (microsoft certified)
