Actually there are no best in Google, As long as you're building quality links from authority and relevant sites then I'm sure Google will love it.

 

i have kept hearing that since years still i never bother i just keep practicing with white hat SEO.I always believe in tried and true techniques of SEO like article submissions, link submissions, forum postings,blog commenting,bloging,link exchanges n many more.

I am agree with rhino on all basic seo .I also think that firstly do all basic practice .Like article , blog, forum, bookmarking etc But not a days in spite of basic you have to do some thing innovative .
you can do :
try to get backlink from the sites whict are giving link to your compititor site.
Be stright forword to both search engine & user.
Seo is all about hit & trial base.

Hey.. i think one who can understand and analyzes search engines in a better way can optimize a website in a better way. All this techniques will work in best way if they are ordered and applied in a analytical manner.

 

No one can say, which is good and which not.. Prediction is good but not to beyond it.. Do your work positively and emphasize more on your on page work rather on off page..

 

hmm link wheel is interesting, but not quite different than getting massive backlinks

i have now more than one year experience in SEO. I havnt ever got any need to use directory submissions and link building.

 

There are not many changes now, you still need to build more link, high quality is better and ip diversity is must

 

Latest SEO technique are email mkting, SMO, Content Optimisation.

blog and forums comments is effective.

 

Directory submission are not worst for seo but it shows result so late. directory submission is important to building your site on Google SERP's. It's my opinion don't know about anyone else.

 

My directory submissions hardly ever show up in google backlinks for some reason.
