Hi all, I am wondering if i should do manual link directory submission for my website or not. I heard that it's not effective nowadays. Will article submission be a better option then? or both. Please let me know your 2 cents. Thanks Cheers all
Well, Article Submissions are always better option over Directory Submissions. However, my opinion is that the more the backlinks the better. So, its no harm if you target both the Article Submissions as well as the Directories.
There is nothing confirmed to say that this works or that works, but if you can get links from few high quality directories, it is still worth it, but considering that as your prime link building form is not a good idea. Article submission on the other hand can bring hordes of links and some quality and some quantity, get them going and try to get unique articles to article sites and not send away the same article to all the sites, it is a waste of time.
Article submission is fast, result oriented seo activity rather than directory submission. Directory submission takes much time to approve while article approves fast. If article directory is Dofollow then it will create backlinks as well.
I submit to quality paid directories and they help form a natural, varied backlink profile - which is what you want.
