    Craigslist is still one of the best, my personal favorites.
    It actually has allowed me to make $200 a day advertising
    services that I had outsourced :)

    But i like to add some more that you have missed here
    backpage and kijiji are also big website and that is next to craigslist.

    Craigslist is the best...
    The problem of classified ads is => time consuming to post ads

    So I prefer to use other resources

    Never use these sites to create backlinks, but seeing that ad can be created easily and I think I'll give it a try.

    those sites are not dofollow its nofollow attribute in it. So if you tried to get backlinks from those sites out helpful for backlink purpose but in your mind you are thinking about traffic. Just goahead you will get lot of traffics from these sites especially from craigslist.

    I have client who posting 100 plus ads on sales category. He getting at least 20 to 30 response and sale each day.
