[2009] My Exact Process For Making $100/Day In Affiliate Marketing

This sounds like a smart move, how much time do you spend everyday.. ?

 

I thought making money online is complex and hard, but looking on your guides, it sounds so easy. I have just one question, from which company you get 1.3$ per e-mail, and what will make one subscriber worth a dollar for them? Why they are paying you to get a e-mails?

 

When you first started, you need a few hours/day (2-3 hours) to test out some polls.

Now when I've some polls running and making me money. Everyday, I spend around an hour checking out stats and rotate email submit offers.

That's about it.

 

Advertisers are paying to get leads.

 

Congratulations Steve on your achievement and also for this thread. I'm sure many newbies would find it really useful. I have been an affiliate marketer myself and tested before a couple of months zip submits and the only problem I faced was lead shaving. Not sure how you deal with it but as you stated, the best option is to rotate email submit offers from different affiliate companies

I can't really comment as I only drive traffic through ppc.

keep in mind, anyone can post a "casual advice" later in this thread like:

"try social network"

"try youtube"

"try craiglist"

"try this, try that"

etc....

(that's too many "noob advice" I'm seen here in the forum )

unless someone can show you a working plan, you better think twice before jumping in and waste another 2 weeks of your life.

I'm not saying other methods not working, my advice is: only take advice from someone who knows his stuff.

Nice method, but I have a few questions.

1. Will Google Trends work too?
2. Landing pages can be a blog site?
3. Do you have to put the specific offer on the Poll ? (ie. WalMart Gift Card)?
Or Can you make it general? FREE Gift Card
4. Any other keyword tools work? Sorry, but I don't have $176 to waste on Keyword Elite. How many keywords are enough? I used the Google Adwords Keyword tool and chose all related keywords (around 400)
5. How is your Adwords campaign setup?
- daily budget? I know you get more exposure with a higher budget
- delivery method: standard or accelerated?
- CPC --> start at .20 then lower to .10 in 48 hrs.? higher CPC gets more exposure initially? So, initially you won't be in profit?
- post ONLY on content network? ALL relevant pages OR do you target placements?
- optimize or rotate ads (Google recommends optimize, but don't you want to rotate to see which ad performs better?)
- i guess geo-targetting depends on topic (Obama/Palin would just be the USA)

I am asking these questions because I started one poll that goes to a blog (2 days ago), then directs people to the offer. I put the same poll like 10 times on the same blog post each attached to a different offer. I stated on the blog that each poll has a different offer and they can do ONE or more offers. Will this be effective?

As of now, after starting at .20/click and coming down to .10/after 48 hrs., I have made only $1.45 and have spent $4.93. So, no profit. Any idea why?

1. Yes, you can get ideas from google trends too. But I'm lazy to search all over google trends. Even if you get an idea, the idea is not proven. You might think it's a great poll but......If you're on my list, I'll send you a free report on where you can find proven polls online. Those are polls that people want to vote on, just copy n paste to make money. Simple as that.

2. Yes, can be a blog. But make sure you get "clean" page. Too many links leakage hurt your CTR

4. KE gives me 1000-2000 KW. You could use google kw tool combine with wordtracker free tool for start. Only invest in KE later when you've made money out of this method.

- I don't really rotate anything. I've a proven ad copy after I've rolled out more than 100+ polls. So I just use the template for each poll that I run.

It's hard for me to tell you off hand how to.....if you could send me more information like your ad copy, your LP I can help you to tweak it here. Also, people will be able to learn.

A profitable poll is affected by factors like your targeted keyword list, landing page optimization, skill to craft an ad copy, choosing the right offer for your demographic.

Take Landing Page optimization for example. I critic more than 20 landing page for fellow members in PPC-Coach membership helping some to raise their LP CTR from 50% to 80% (some even to 90% in good days).

I sprung for the E-Book report that you have been mentioning here. Some good information in there, and now I am tallying up some of the costs before I jump in. Is the PPC Coach Tracker system including with PPC Coach membership, or is this separate? If so how much does this cost?

Do you have any screen shots of an example of the dummy WP blog used? I want to make sure I don't hit any bumps when signing up with CPA's. What if we have another website that we operate? I have a business but would rather keep these completely separate but am wondering if this would work to show them I have a site.
