Hey everyone, I just bought (and read) the e-book and must say it's a good read. There are a few tips and tricks I found helpful and hopefully will come to good use soon. Of course, it covers basics such as affiliates, hosting and other basics but certainly some helpful info on advertising and AdWords. I do have a few questions: Let's say I wanted to create a poll that relates to the NBA All Stars, won't there be dozens of polls for this subject matter? Especially when it's a hot topic? I'm sure that there A LOT of people doing polls, they all probably look at the Yahoo Buzz Index so there must be duplicate polls. How do some succeed and some fail? Also, I was under the impression that the e-book contained at least one of the scripts that the author praises and unfortunately, it doesn't contain any. Providing at least one script for generating landing pages or the script that cycles the affiliate links would have been a nice add and would offer more incentive for trying the PPC-coach. I will try a few polls soon and share my results with the forum. -DA
Interesting method you are sharing here. I will be trying this out after doing some research online. By the way, I have just grabbed a copy of the $9 report and skimmed it through. It looks great since Steven has listed almost all the steps he had took for the poll method. Basically, it is just like a simple but detailed blueprint which describes the necessary steps (Apply for network -> Get poll ideas -> Create poll page -> Advertising) for one to get started on this method.
How do some succeed and some fail? Apart from the poll idea, a few other factors decides your success will polls. Keyword list, ad copy, Landing page CTR, offer selection all comes in. There might be a lot of people running similar polls, but their skill varies....obviously their results varies. Let me give you an example. Say I'm able to create a 80% CTR landing page vs a noob creating a crap page with 20% CTR. Obviously I'll have better results. Another example. say I've tested and tested till I have a proven ad copy that converts better than you. Google will reward me with lower CPC....I'll yield higher ROI with my ad investment. make sense? I was under the impression that the e-book contained at least one of the scripts I didn't imply or tell explicitly (either here or on my sales page) that I'll send you a script with my book. I've delivered (both in my book and here in this thread) more than $9 can buy. If you need script, you really need to pay for that.
it's not so easy as it seems. There are tons of details to learn before you'll start making $10-20 pay day. Be prepared to build 100 polls more and spend $300-$500 to learn how it works. To achieve $100/day you need to invest money and work 6-8 hours everyday, especially at the beginning. I got it all a few months back and don't make polls anymore, because there are plenty of other ways to promote CPA offers. My advice: rotate more offers
For every new venture (in business or any other stuff in life), there are details to learn Let me know if you need help, I'll see if I can assist.
Assuming you don't have and are not ready to invest into Keyword Elite, what would be the disadvantage of placing 40-50 KW's / ad campaign from the Google keyword tool? Of course, these 40-50 KW would be a blend of (Low Ad Competition + High Search Volume) KW. Good luck everyone! the Obama poll somewhere in this thread has a nice clean landing page. Any more examples? (Steven gives you a great copy in his $9 guide by the way)...
Hey Steve, just to let you know I bought your $9 ebook yesterday and signed up with Affiliate.com, Neverblue, Azoogle and Fluxad. Will join PPC Coach under you link once I'm approved as a member. What I like about about this arrangement is that Steve continued to get paid every month as long as we are making money and is in PPC Coach. I believe he will do a good job to help us, and that means having 3 mentors to help. I will post updates on my progress here.
Thx for so much good info. My English is so poor that can not listen to video and get the phone untill now, hope to improve some days.
That's the whole idea..... When you're there, you get to pm me for help. I'll take a look at your adwords account, ad copy and landing page before your ad go "live". Hopefully you'll make fewer mistakes this way. Apart from a list of CPA networks, I’ve seen some people really need a step-by-step guide on how to get approved by CPA networks. I've written a report to help you guys out. In the report, you'll get my CPA list and tips to get you approved by CPA networks. Download "CPA Passport" here. It's a free 7-page PDF written by me. The best part is, no opt-in required. Read and apply my steps, you shouldn’t have problem getting approved by most of the networks you apply to. (even you're not a US resident, this works for you) have questions? ask here.
Say you place 50 kw in one adgroup, 2000 kw will give you 40 adgroups. With 40 adgroups, your ad could be appearing on 40 different websites. With 1-2 adgroups, you'll appear only on 1-2 sites. We want our poll to reach as many sites as possible. That's the reason why I use 2000 kw. But for certain niche, you just cannot find that many kw. I still remember I ran a poll on loch ness monster. My poll was "Does Loch Ness Monster Really Exist?".....No matter what I do, I just can't harvest more than 500+ loch ness monster related kw. So, it's all depends on niche. Note: Don't run loch ness monster polls, though it looks interesting....this is a bad poll idea ( I didn't know when I was started out with this business model). This poll doesn't comply with my good-poll-rule on my first post.
I got $0.05 a click in both actually. The content network and the search engine gave me $0.05 a click for keywords like "chris brown". Michael Phelps also gave me about $0.05-0.07 I'm selling my polling site if anyone is interested. Its up and ready to go, all you need to change is the affiliate links. PM me if your interested in getting started immediately in this method.
I have also read steves books and they are pretty good. I signed up for the ppc-coach but have yet to get started.. just a warning, there is a lot of information to read/learn, at times it can become overwhelming.
Wow! Just read through the whole thread. Steve, this is all very interesting. I will be getting the ebook as soon as I finish with this post.
For those who are wondering if the $9 book is a worthy buy, I'd say it layout the whole idea for you so you know if you can do this. Steven has broken down everything into easy to digest, bite size info so you don't get information overload. Basically its a step-by-step guide to start out on his poll method. From here, you can either try launch out on your own (using purchased script) or sign up for PPC Coach under Steven. It's your call, whether you want to figure it out on your own or have someone to guide you along the (shorter) way. Sure, you can sign up under Steven to enjoy his help and get all the tools as well as support - without buying the $9 book. However, the crucial info in this book in my opinion is "how to get approved" by CPA affiliates. This is the first and an important step for anyone to make money with this method. For your information, CPA networks are very strict and they ask tons of technical questions before they even consider your application. In his book and support site, he show you how to answer those questions like a seasoned marketer. Bottom line? Buy it if you are not already affiliated with any CPA networks and skip it if you already know how to get accepted, or is an existing member. I will update you guys with my progress.
Oh yes, I've a support site for you guys. I answer any questions to help you get started with poll method. Have you seen anyone selling a $9 book care to set up a support site to help you out? May be not too many ..........
I made $19.50 (site is in my signature). It is profitable, I just lost money with it because I didn't have the right email submit to make it work and I was targeting celebrity traffic like pumalean said. You can definitely make money though with pumalean's method though.
