I didn't find any 2009 latest Dir List for free directory Submissions.

i submitted to many directories last week but none of them responded...how long will it take for the directory to be approved or i'm just waiting for nothing!

As usual, the forum has provide some excellent Resources.

 

Some of them can take months to get back to you. Keep checking your inbox regularly for confirmation messages or emails which require you to click a URL to complete your submission. Getting a spam account is a good idea too since you'll receive tons of newsletters which might require you to pick through them in order to check if you've been accepted into the directories.

Some directories disappear weeks after you've submitted, so in a way, yes, you will be waiting for nothing. But using the Firefox directory form filler add-on will help you complete the text fields super fast. Then it won't matter so much if a small number of these directories disappear.

while listing, I see many of these sites put indirect link to our blogs that is of no use for search engines. Is there any listing where I can find the blog directories giving direct links?
