Submitting press releases to press release sites is another great way to build backlinks. As long as your content is news worthy, then submit it and get a back link. I keep finding lists, but most of the time the sites listed are either dead or do not offer a free package.

thanks, i was trying to see who had some good experiences since PR-USA now not only rejects entries, but does not inform you.

 

Does any one know what is the best free Online Press Release website that allows you to place a link to website for free?

 

There was a pretty good list on Mashable a while back of like 20 good free press release sites. I've found only 5-10 that are worthwhile. Most of them don't want to pass link juice anymore. PrLog is probably the best of the bunch. Start with them and move out slowly from there.
