    Lehman was the 4th largest bank in USA. Latest news are that Goldman Sachs profits plunge 70%. Only consolation is that it still looks healthy despite the losses, though you never know.

    Market continues with the meltdown from yesterday. AIG's problems is no joke, being the largest Insurance company, their financial health affects everyone in the economy. Fed can bite the bullet when it comes to Lehman, but I guess they still have to rescue AIG. With share prices dropping from a high of $70 to the current $2.50, it will be extremely difficult for them to rise cash on the financial markets.

    Its gonna bleed for a while. Wallstreet cant prop the market up forever. After the blood letting is done then its a great time to swoop in and grab some well know tech names.

    Anyone think there's a good opportunity sometime in the next few years(however long it takes the crisis to pass) to get long financials and housing? (there's already people jumping into housing, like TOL, but I don't have the balls)
