2008 Stock Market Predictions - Technology Companies Will Prosper?

There going to raise there dividend very shortly I don't own them though

 

I'm holding ORCL. They report next week and many think that ADBE's recent earnings numbers are a good indicator for ORCL.

Even though I equate the opinion of S&P with dog feces, I like this. Screw LEH.

 

I never thought I'd see this day, but Google finally looks to have a decent valuation. At about a 20x multiple next year that's not bad considering Yahoo trades with a 60 times multiple and is not half the company that Google is.

 

Da Bears are dead and spring is here. I am no longer a headstrong bear, but have come back to the "good" side. The government has it set in stone that they will not let us fail.

P.S. I hate "bears" and hated myself for a while there, but I came out alive from the "dark" side.

Yeah, it may be "coming", but when is this? Who knows, and if it ever happens I am quick and nimble like a fox and will adjust accordingly. If it happens "hard and fast", then whatever, death to all.

I don't hate myself for being honest, but hate the thought of being pessimistic, because pessimists, "find the difficulty in every opportunity" (Churchill).

P.S. My sentiments toward the market are mostly from having the attitude of "wishing death to all" for so long, and then seeing this makes me feel better that I can play this ride up as far as it goes. It is true that there is more to come from financial institutions, I am still short LEH. You have to keep an eye on the "Level 3 (mark to coke-induced fantasy)" assets these banks have.

I am still pretty damn bearish though, ugh...

The key is, you wouldn't be able to make money if you didn't have a bearish outlook at times. Peter Schiff wrote about this in one of his newsletters months ago, re: Ron Paul. Said, it was a chance for his clients to "bet on America" for once.
