2008 = Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton for President

Discussion in 'Politics & Religion' started by Dominic, Nov 3, 2004.

The only good thing to come out of bush winning is hopefully he will screw up even worse domestically this term and pave the way for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton to take office in 2008.

Now that's something I'd like to see!

And since Pres. Clinton must still be addressed as 'President,' USA will have 2 pres. clintons in the white house at the same time!

I would like Dr.Phil for president, with General Wesley Clark as vice president.

I thinkl they would do great Dr.Phil is loved by millions, has a good head and are a great communicator. Clark is a US Army general, a true hero, and would be pulling the strings.

John Edwards is the future of the party, no doubt about it, you must carry the South to win in America, he is from the South and Southerners will vote for him.

He is a good man and will be a great leader. The guy is a lock, he is the man.

I'd think Obama would be a great candidate coming from the Dem's also.. He is very charismatic, intelligent, and seems to captivate most everyone he speaks in front of.

    Hillary though? Come on...

That Why Bush Won "article" is pretty bad.
I see why Bush won. Because there are plenty of people just like the person who wrote that.
Which is also why I'm embarrased to be a part of the american public. :(

Obama would be the better bet and seems like a good man, not a scam artist lawyer. Start watching him and see how he does in the Senate.

Would I want Rodham to be Pres? Absolutely not.

Would I want her to be running for Pres? No way, just in case she wins!

I thought she was everything you would want in a pres.

I forgot Obama is not a color you would vote for being a southerner confederate flag holding rednick you are. LOL

I have to say, that compared to the UK government system, you don't even know what left is...
Both of the candidates running this year were right wing.
Bush being the even righter wing candidate (Clearly).

It just seems to me, that no matter what you guys vote, it is always right wing.
You have no socialist opposition. (I'm not saying that I would vote socialist, but at least I have the option).

I agree. America never seems to get away from wanting the old white guy with lots of money and only a slight variation on ideals of what the current president has to be president, or stick with what we already have.

As soon as someone with a different idea comes up and says I want to run, the media shoots them down with words like non-electability or some other crap like that. Not to mention if the mass public hears the word liberal they gasp like it's a word that the FCC should censor.

A personal injury lawyer (especially one who claims he can channel dead people) will never, ever be president of the US. And that is what John Edwards is. Lieberman is probably most moderate candidate the Dems have right now; but beyond that it's pretty shrill on that side of the aisle. Reps have a lot more choices in 08 than the dems do at current.

    This map:
    http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/vote2004/countymap.htm

(compare to 2000 for how much worse its gotten - especially along the mississippi and the south in general) shows the problems that the democrats have. Other than big cities, they have no support at all in the rest of the country.
