This is a huge hit for me. For some reason, as soon as the new year started, my revenue started to slowly decrease. Now I've reached the 50% decrease mark and I'm starting to get worried. What is going on? Will it continue to go down?
You're just speaking about a 10 days period after Christmas & New Year's eve Don't worry (now)! This temporary (I guess) slowdown may help you reconsider your strategy and marketing methods in order to go further
Thank you and well said. Things happen and occaissionol drop will happen for a period of time. And to think of it since it is directly after the holidays, people have less to spend if it is not a neccesity like food, mortgage and utilities. I figure when it comes around the US tax refund time things will pick up. Maybe.
Im seeing a drop too its advertisers figuring out the after holiday tactics and maybe a little of the google PR update
Hi, don't stress yourself, but things will pick up around Jan 15,2008........people won't spend untill they get another paycheck.........Christmas and New Years ruins business this time of year for most.........but I can't complain, I made $4675.00 this week, but that is a little slow for me. I make about 22 K a Month with my 28 ebay accounts. So life is good still. C ya Heather http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZtop_secret_money http://heather48dd.bravejournal.com/entry/20870
think thats bad, im getting 25%-50% of what i was making in November with about 25% more traffic !. im hoping it will pick up some by next month at least.
It's expected to go down if you're using affiliate marketing where you get commisions on other people buying stuff, but if you're monetized using PPC methods then you wouldn't expect the percentage of clicks to drop unless your traffic is down for some reason.
Well seems like you should be worried but I do not know anything about your niche so it could be perfectly normal....look at the bigger picture you will know.
How does this compare to the same time period last year? Things are usually slower for me also in January but picks up in February.
