Didnt read all the posts but someone wondering when the last one was done can check here http://www.seologs.com/google-updates.html Last PageRank Update was 70 Days ago Last BackLink Update was 74 Days ago
Just to confirm this, I have two sites that got inner PR about 1.5 weeks ago and today more pages have gained PR. Funny part is when I look in Google tools it says page X has the highest pagerank but the pagerank on page X is PR0. An example on one site http://herbalcures.biz/ - internal pages were all PR0 until about 1.5 weeks ago. Links are on the bottom of the page.
Hi! Thanks for this tool. I know that it's just 2months since Google PR update but backlinks start to update now and I think PR would be next.
Well, it's not like it really counted that much (or at all, in some cases) but you've got to have an explaination for those to whom PR is important to be seen in good state on your website, and it unexpectedly gets lost..
Today I just noticed this thread has a Poll. Topic: ((( Is Google PageRank Important To You? ))) I just made my vote.
Is Google PageRank Important To You? My experience is that when my site was new (less than 6 months old) PR was to me the b-all and end-all of my ambitions for my site. Adsense earnings were low and so was any other revenue streams so my ideal was to get to a PR of 6'ish and sell links for many $'s. Now as my site matures and I add more relevant content that users find interesting, my fascination with PR has dwindled somewhat. Sure it would be nice to get a massive boost in PR at the next update but now I'm no longer fixated. Its quality visitors and serps that floats my boat now. My adsense income is increasing on a month to month basis and I am getting enquiries from advertisers wishing to place ads on my sites and quite honestly my sites PR is becoming less and less important to my future plans for the site.
In regards to pagerank question Nope, could care less if all my sites drop to pr0, as long as their SERP position didnt drop.
The problem is its a straight yes/no question, as I said in my answer before, its important BUT not as important as it first was to me. In that respect I cant vote. Hope this helps you understand some of the non-voters.
I agree with Hopper. I voted no since it isn't terribly important to me but I do get some sort of sick thrill out of watching the little green bar. Important, no. Entertaining yes. I struggled with the answer somewhat.
No updates on my steady sites were observed. However sites that were down due to hosting problems lost their PR. No rollbacks so far on these zero PR sites.
