That's the one thing with Reddit.. you just have to find a perfect sub-reddit and submit high quality content. If you don't however, users will either troll, report and even get your account banned.

 

For traffic, You need to make good Social media pages and communities where you can share your content on a daily basis. Start with Google+, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Reddit, Stumbledupon and Pinterest. Just update these pages/communities regularly with useful and informative contents. That's it.
