I'm sure it depends on how much money you make.

I've never gotten anything either. My guess is that you must need to make more than $10k per year.

I hear you need $1000 a day, but then someone said they make $6k a month and receive gifts.

I got the first USB drive from Google, you'd think they'd be more creative than a USB drive. Personally the present I like best is the hundreds of dollars they deposit into my account monthly :D.

Buggers! Is 15$ usb drive even worth to discuss. Why don't google donate to some needy org on behalf of all the publishers. And send each publisher a receipt of amount donated with name of the publisher.
Something more satisfying for a new year/christmas?

    You didn't get a cole? :D j/k

Finally someone with a realistic approach to this matter! You're so right...Taking into consideration that you receive the gift if you make more than 30k/month I don't see the point in talking about a $15 gift.... (Seems like google is pretty cheap :D)

Its just a formality. So they can say "We give gifts, unlike Yahoo"...even if that gift is only $15.

The best gift from google would be to get rid of all those MFA sites, and instead of bitching about paid links, kill the million arbitrage sites over adwords. But i guess that would cost them much more than 15 bucks for a flash pen.
    Merry Xmas, Google!

I do not complain because they don't send me the gift ... still they send me a check every month :D
way moooorrreeeee than the price of 2gb thumbdrive ...

anyway ... it's not about the price, but the "real value" of the gift ... "appreciation" ... ;)

appreciation gifts are a nice gesture, regardless of their value. But it is strange that Google is not making clear who qualifies for them and why. What the heck, for a 2gb flashdrive I'll work harder next year!

I think you need to be a fairly big earner to get a gift.
