    Forum signatures are very helpful for SEO purpose as they as are considered as backlinks & also help in improving SERP but be careful while posting in forums as a lot of forums get banned because of inappropriate content which eliminates the value you get from them.. :)

    This is true that links through forum signatures contain a good value. but some forums offer nofollow links. So, before posting check if the forum is offering nofollow link
