Yes, forum sig link are good.
But now, I think forum sig link is not as good as in the past.
Maybe google aware about it and change their algorithm

 

That is my feeling too. I think where you lack in quality, you make up in quantity. No link is a bad link, as long as it is not coming from a bad place...

 

I tried myself and got a not-so-fantastic result but it does show that forum signatures do hold some weight and can make a difference to your rankings within just a few days. Particularly for long tailed keywords.

 

Ya I agree with this that forum signatures prove to be very good in building backlinks....

 

Forum signature links are good for SEO. Also it brings huge traffic if you posting in correct niche.

 

Signature links are good if the forum is good. Otherwise next to useless.

A signature link is more like the sand before the concrete cement, they are much like article submissions, in that they are not powerful, but they play their part.

Yes forum sigs are a really good way to get some results in seo. And it can also help you get traffic from the forum itself if you present the link in a nice way.

 

stOx, you are correct. Can you imagine how many people from DP will be on the top page if Google only think about signature links? Its going to be everyone here will be on the top page.

 

Do you think 1000s of backlink from one forum with same anchor text will also work and search engine give importance to these 1000s links of same anchor text from same forum?

Yes forum ignatures are good and are 1 part of your linkbuilding campaign - use them with other methods such as bookmarking - blogs - article mareting - rss feed promotion etc

 

I also think that Signature r really helpfull.Forum signatures are great way of link building.

 

If your signature in DA is totally unrelated to the forum in most regards - does it help with SERP in any way? Or will hit hurt my site SERP because Google won't understand what losing pregnancy weight has to do with a forum dealing with SEO?
