[2007] Anyone has a list of FREE PRESS RELEASE sites ?

Free press release generators are all crap. Stick to using templates and looking at successful examples that you know led to media coverage.

You can use press releases to get news coverage for just about any kind of company.

they all have press release section's news which is all free to use. To them its free advertising

Does anyone know of any decent free press release sites??

If using main keywords in anchor text - does this count as inbound links if from decent PR site?
Or does it just mean extra traffic?

Hey!

You should try to submit your press releases to bloggers. You can also post them on some forums. A successful way is to contact editors directly and send them your news. Make sure your PR respect the proper format. Starting this way, you should be able to build up your "news network".

Press release can get you visible to SE anchoring your KW and therefore you can get traffic.. (make sure for competitive KW)
Inbound links are also known as BL, and yes it can generate BL and help your PR.

 

greatlogix, I'm not sure that your list is the list of FREE sites to submit PR coz the first one in your list is prweb and it is not free at all!!! the price is approximately $200 for one PR but this is the most serious one. I use this site and I have submitted one PR per week and I should say traffic+links in your PR+good position in Google SERPs --this is the result I've got
