According to my stats with over 28000 clicks since 2004, 2005 paid less than 2004 for the majority of the year but topped 2004 levels at the end. The average for 2005 was up .3 cents. 2006 paid consistantly better than both previous years up 13.6 cents per click on average throughout the year. Results of course are most likely due to content changes on my sites and not just Google.
I've already made more today than I made in any other day last year (keep in mind, though, I only started with AdSense in the beginning of December ). Still, it's an interesting thing...
Too early to compare. Besides, many companies start their new ad campaigns with a fresh, new year. This means they can restock their depleted accounts to conduct new campaigns.
Traffic is definately a lot lower than a typical Monday. Whats so paecial about New Year? It should be like any other day with people using the internet and searching for stuff.
Way too early to judge. Maybe your traffic has increased since a lot more people are home on the interent and off work?
really ? I dont seem to have an increase I think it was the holiday season and the increase in traffic ..
It is higher today because everyone's adwords budget has reset, so they have the whole budget for the month available todays as oposed to on the last few days of the month, when many people's budget's have ran out. Thanks
You have made a similiar post in Yahoo Pub Network forums too titled ' 2007 YPN Paying More!' . http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=209313#post2030789 Good catch eh.. People are doing so much work to get their threads viewed by thousands. Great Great Adsense revenue sharing.
