I don't really have any warm feelings for the Yanks, I am a Blue Jays fan and will always be. Chris Carpenter is part of the reason I am rooting for the Cards. I never did agree with the Jays letting him get away. Imagine what the Jays could have done if they had him in the rotation with Halladay.

I don't think there was any doubt in my mind that Chicago was going to be in the world series.

True, I live in Utah. Born and raised in Ontario Canada. I am and will always be a Blue Jays fan. I strongly believe that pitching is what wins the game. The White Sox showed that.

Gonna have to go with the White Sox this year to win it all... that pitching in the ALCS was amazing.

How about that monster homerun last night? If there was no wall I think it would have landed in Chicago.

Thats the price for world series. I don't know if a 60" wide screen TV is better than being there or not. Tough choice.

Seriously, it could be some years before you see the White Sox go back to the WS. I'm not saying they can't, but as Rob said it could be a once in a lifetime event.
If you're a Yankees fan you expect your team to be there every couple years, but when your team hasn't been to the World Series in 46 years then I'd definitely go see the thing live instead of buying the TV.

I am definately not a Yankees fan. Your right about the once in a life time idea. If you got the cash then go for it. Make sure you dress up like a real white sox fanatic. ;)

Well I bought one ticket for face value yesterday from a friend. Damn I got lucky!

But now my wife wants to go to a game too.

I always wear my lucky Walter Payton jersey to Sox and Bears games. Both teams are undefeated when I wear it! :D

If you missed Jay Leno last night I will paraphrase what he said..

Last year the Red Sox broke the curse, this year the White Sox could do it. Maybe next year the Cubs will... Nah! Not possible.
