You need to experiment with different ad sizes and placements. The rectangles are known to be effective, especially when you put them in the content (in or between articles).
some keyword pay low price to google and some pay high so you have to use only 250-250 adsense on ur site then u can get good earning.
PERFECT ! This is what I suggest them. They are using only image ads for one horizontal & One vertical banner and it is started paying good. Thanks
I am not quite sure to switch link ads to banners. I tried this last month, my CTR did not change much.
It appears that you are in a low paying niche in the ad's, but that should go up wen the economy picks up again. My average has also gone down to 15 cents per click. Yesterday they were all between 2 cants and 44 cents except for one at $2.76, wish I knew what ad payed the $2.76 so I could change some wording to try to get more of them. Look on the bright side, you started when they are paying low, you can only go up from here. Work on expanding the web site and you will do good when things return to normal.
The Adsense revenue depends on the geographical location of your traffic, as well as the content within the ads itself. This is a website that is quasi Hindi and quasi English - so it is only NRIs or Indian residents and a very small percentage of the world's population who would understand - let alone visit - your site. So, there is little chance that this small chunk of traffic will be conversible into revenue.
I recommend two things. 1. You should put more ads and put it in the best place of your blog such as under post title... 2. I refer to put text ads more than images ads because it can give more informations for the visitors and it can impress them to click ads. Thanks.
many reasons... ads postions, colors, keyword density.... Text ads will get more than picture ads... Remove pic ads... And text ads are more targeted...
