I am a great fan of the internet marketing guru Jonathan Leger. I have purchased his products and I have no problems with any of them. I read his news letters with avid interest. This morning I got a chance to verify his claims and got astonished! I know, Jon can't go wrong so easily. What is missing here, could you find out? (BTW, Jon's email news letters don't accept replies, and there is no way to contact him about this as I know) Claim #1 keywords: zune 2 update rank: #1 http://jonleger.com/pqc/zune2update.jpg Reality Not in the top 100 SERP Claim #2 keywords: zune 2 upgrade rank: #2 http://jonleger.com/pqc/zune2upgrade.jpg Reality Not in top 100 I stopped there. (this is definitely not to tarnish his image but I am not sure if Google has different geographical ways)
Could be that he caught them during a serp spike. They got pushed to high position and he wrote about them while they were in the spike and then they dropped down. Honest mistake.
Search engine results depend on your location also. For example if I search "Phoenix" in google.ro, it will display as first result the webpage of a Romanian Rock Band, while if I search the same keyword in google.com, it will show me webpages about the city Phoenix. So maybe you are not in the same country as he is and maybe you just didn't use the same datacenter as he did.
Search engine results depend on location. May be he placed in some other search engine like google u.k, australia...
Moderators may please close this thread. I started this with academic interest when I was a newbie learning the basics of SEO etc.
