By means of correctness, what do you exactly mean? Did the website got submitted to wrong directories? I don't think so. There will be reasons for rejection, approval depends on the quality of the website and its loaded time. I submitted to quality directories selecting proper and appropriate category. Our website is a business website which is hosted on clustered UK servers with 100% uptime. content is 100% unique on the website. There should be no reason regarding website quality. I myself submitted the same website in various LINK DIRECTORIES, not even one directory rejected the link.
