2000 links to quick for 1 week old site ?

I have a few sites in development and will do as you say and monitor these links..

some sites i have 200+ links, some 500+ some close to 1000+ ( the one thousand were 80+ % of users ) so i best not get in strife for that one... and i checked again today and its closer to 3,000 links now ... ive removed my site from my link exchange site and put up a note saying please remove it if they see the banner as people around here got me a little worried..

Anyway got enough sites with different configs so i guess i will just keep my eye on them all and see how they go.

Honestly, if the links are legit, I don't see a problem. It might get you sandboxed, but if you can keep up the pace, you'll be out as fast as you got in. In the long run, it can't hurt too much.

You could contact google. Also, you shouldnt have worked so hard. But that must have been good experience. Just start a new site and add 200 each time and invest the 1800 time for making better content on your site

 

Your site will likely be flagged for human review. If the links are not spammy, you might be ok.

Building links fast is not a good thing to do...Be Patient and build the backlinks naturally, then it will give you good results.

 

Some good "opinions" here (well done for working your but of BTW) As far as varied your link text - mix it a little eg: dog clothes, designer dog clothes, XXL dog clothes because that makes sense....if your site is about dog clothes.....still the same word but variations.

My site for dog clothes is in the top 5... so I do know a little...or more to the point I have DONE a lot

2000 links in one week is toooooooooooo much.....may be penalize

 

I think it will be fine. some companies spend millions of dollars advertising, and getting thousands of links a day.... i dont think you will have any problems.

 

I told in one of the threads here that link building speed doesn't matter as long as you are doing it properly.

But, 2000 links for a week old site is too fast.
Make it a little bit slow, dude.
