Ask yourself how Google would evaluate whether or not those links occurred naturally.

You can attempt to simulate natural linking by modulating your linking rate, acceleration, varied anchor text and so on. Directories are a good place to start. In my opinion, I'd only bother with the top ten - dmoz, botw & yahoo are a must.

From there, I'd immediately target high-traffic authority sites, as this will allow you to accelerate your linking campaign while still appearing "natural". If big sites are linking to you, fast links to follow would appear justified to Google. As your web presence increases, so to would natural linking.

You might target a back-link "conversion rate" factored against your traffic. For instance, lets say you get 3000 visitors a month with on-page SEO and directory submissions alone. 10% of the 3000 happen to be webmasters, leaving 300 as potential linkers. Of those, 10% found your content linkable and decided to link (each using semantically related anchor text), putting you at 30 links for that month and an overall back-link "conversion rate" of 1%. Your traffic would go up and the next month you could do more. That's just an example and I would imagine 1% is a very high estimate.

 

It's easy to make links for example with Squidoo or Hubpages. If you create just one page about your topic, you can place let's say 20 deep linking links to your site.

 

3 months are quite enough to build that much links but instead of concentrating on quantity you should concentrate on quality of links . As 100 low quality links may be equal to 1 high quality link with pr6.

I have a couple of sites banned outright for adding thousands of links in such a short time. A natural and steady link building program is both safe and sensible.

agree with red virus. can say that if you have money, there is a lot of thing about link building you can do but money only not enough must have the skill also.

 

Yes, its possible, but they will be worthless unless they all look natural - if you just post the same description each time then they are seen as not natural, not genuine votes, if you post 2000 links all with unique descriptions then it will give your site a huge boost in SERPS rather than 2000 repeat links which will have hardly any impact at all

Being a novice at this, I read all that has been added encouraging this many links in such a short period of time and I think we are ALL NUTS. Then, I read the comment above and begin to regain my faith in real knowledgeable SEO gurus!

Adding that many links will call attention to your site, most of it unfavorable, I have always been told. However, IF they are all natural and complementary to your site, then full speed ahead. The catch is meeting the two requirements I just included. We have taken the position with http://www.express-invitations.com that only good, quality and relative links will help us.
