I have a small doubt in your question. Are want to build 2000 back links or 2000 directory submission in 3 months ?

 

it's relatively straightforward to build that number of links using autoblogging ( http://www.bloggerhigh.com ) but you'd be wise with new sites to 'spread the links around a little' - 3000 all pointing at one site in that time may arouse suspicion. With autoblogging, you could have 3500 a month, or about 10,000 backlinks over the 3 months to spread around your sites.
