Latly i have seen lots of clicks but very low earnnings. It happened after i chaned each ad unit to it's own channel (all in the same website) can someone please explane this so i understand how 15 clicks only generats 1.41$ ? thanks.
I actually think that is an ok amount of $ for the clicks, has your CTR dropped? you say it happend after channel changes, what was the earning before hand?
If your niche is an average earning entity, then 15 clicks will be only worthy for $1.41 and the ctr seems very low. You can experiment with better placement of ads and blending the ads with the contents and let us see whether it improves
@ dairyman: Even better ad placement wont improve the value of each click. If it happened right after you created new channels for each one, I can only imagine that the spiders checked each page (each channel) individually, and thus put ads more targeted (albeit less valuable) in those spots. How much were you getting per click before?
For some strange reason, but earning per click has taken a dump today as well. I went from averaging $.08 a click to $.062 a click. Adds up real fast.
that is the reality of the way things are nowadays, and it might get worse in the coming year and on, it will get harder and harder to make a dime out of this
i would say thats pretty standard pay and must be related to your niche. focus on increasing your CTR which is the key
Yes, it depends on your niche, I got even lower on some sites. For example 20000 impressions 4 USD. That means 0,4 USD on 2000 impressions. Comparing with your adds, mines are 3 times cheaper...
That's not bad at all.. So many people are not even getting $0.01 per click. You are far better than those.It depends on the niche.
