You should buy some PR6+ links even though they are hard to find that, amount will buy you a few of them, also maybe buy an seo package.
Both are a long term solution... PPC is long term if you keep paying and SEO is long term if you continue to build links. Both are a great way to get traffic. The best option for you to test PPC is to start a campaign on Google and see how you do. Find your CTR and your cost per conversion. If both are good then keep doing it. If your money is going down the tubes and you can't manage it then think about hiring an outside company to manage your campaigns. I would advise against management if you are spending less than $5000 a month on PPC, you wouldn't get much of a return. On the SEO side it will take a while for you to see results... You just have to be patient with whoever you use. Try them out for 3 months and if you don't see improvement then move on to someone else. Everyone can find an SEO company... but sticking with one you like and can get the job done is what matters.
I have used the services of www.Webmasterlabour.com they boosted the PR of one of my clients site from 3 to 5 they write good content, submit to the proper directories they specialize in bringing traffic from digg, blogs and other high traffic sites. you should try them out. start with something small to get the notion of what can be done for you and then subscribe to more expensive services once you feel comfortible with them my client is using their services for over a year now. cheers, Vasily
Another thing, do not listen to SEO`s that are talking a lot on getting high PR. High PR alone is not giving you visitors or anything else.
I would focus on number of good links. Honestly you could build 10 - 50 links on a weekends worth of work just by shooting emails to people. I do it for my own SEO and I have found great results. We also do it for some of our clients as well just not on the weekend Media buys are one of the best ways to go.
