My directory website is really dated looking, and I want to spiff it up! contest is 48 hours. I just need a PSD template for the front page redesign, no coding needed, I will handle all that.

    My website is: http://tinyurl.com/yloecnj

I want it to have a very clean professional look to it. You can see what I am going for here on the website. $200 paypal to the winner. Must be good, and streamlined. I will post feedback on everyone's entries.

You can download my logo in PSD format and the font here http://tinyurl.com/yljztsu

Do you need the current images*banner, header, navbar, buttons etc.,) to be redesigned or you are going to change the entire layout of it, making way for new images?

yes I want the whole thing redone, I mean some of the words and stuff in the banner "get connected" etc etc I would like to encorporate, but overall, want a complete overhaul.

The only thing I want to stay the same is I want the left navigation, center content, and right navigation to stay in their place. but changing up the look for them would be good

And as far as sights I like, I haven't really found any, see my site as it is now looks like CRAP... but if you saw my competition, my site looks 100x better... lol it's really that bad.

So I'm just looking for fresh and new, something that is lighter on the eyes, (current site is too dark, you can tell, im not much of a designer, in a php / mysql coder). I like stuff like this http://www.templatemonster.com/wordpress-themes/26607.html However as I stated above, I need right and left navigation with content in the center... but something like that would be a LOT easier on the eyes.

slim... wow that is top notch, this is the type of makeover I am looking for. I have only 3 things that would need to be done to this design.

1.) Background is a little dark, I'm looking for a little bit lighter theme. Overall the layout and look and feel are excellent. So if the background could be lightened up to make the page look brighter that would be excellent.

2.) The column Other (CA) Counties is actually going to be growing as I add more sections to it so as that grows my concern would be that it would push the directory listings farther down the page. So perhaps it would be possible to reduce the width on the left column and have the counties column span down the whole right side. I don't care so much if there is a lot of blank space at the moment, I can fill that in with banner ads (which i will be running on the site)

3.) I'm also concerned about pageload time. right now my pageload time is .5 seconds. I don't mind being slower. But I think to reduce pageload time I would need to cut out the rounded corners and borders.

Other than those few things, this is an amazing layout, I am pretty happy with this one so far.

in addition as I was saying as we grow we will be expanding counties, you can see what i am talking about here on the right hand side: http://tinyurl.com/yas75zd how the whole side gets filled up with cities / counties. So I need the room to incorporate that.

Robi, I like your design as well, it is much brighter and makes for an easy read, on the page. I have a couple issue's with this layout.

1.) I want the visitor who comes to the site to instantly know the site is about cars, on my old design I have the banner with the car, with a call to action. also too in my header I had a headlight faded in the background. This template doesn't really have any graphics of any cars that would make it easily identifiable.

2.) Header is too large, on my laptop the text is near the bottom of the fold.

3.) Screen real estate is prescious to me so I would need it to be wider (my current site isn't wide enough as it is.)

and lastly I'm not to big on the boxes popping out the side of the page. Just my preference.

The bonus and definite plus of yours, it would be easy to cutout, and being not too graphic intense, my pageload would stay pretty low and it is pretty clean looking.
