200 visitors, 1 click

Hello;
Although I have implemented all the basics of ad placement, total daily clicks are usually less than several. I have about 200 visitors a day. I believe there is something wrong with this. If anyone would like to help me, I will send them the domain name in PM for analysis. Any help will be appreciated.

 

It all depends on your target market. I run a directory network of 25 directories, gaining about 30,000 hits per day with only about 15 link clicks. (Only web masters would be submitting to a directory, therefore not clicking the ads)

 

Mine is an English teaching site. I believe I should be able to get more clicks with it. Would somebody like to have a look at the way I placed the ads?

I tried 336*280 ads inside main content but it didn't work at all; it just covered much space for nothing.
I also tried different font sizes to the 728*30 ad above with no consequences either. Online exercises are closely placed between ads but that seems useless as well. I would be much pleased and indebted if a professional helped me.

 

Sometimes I don't get a lot of clicks but for the ones I do I get a lot of $ per click.

 

Try placing 1 200*200 text ad, and one 200*200 image ad within your 'box' content.

English language learning sites aren't actually good ... I have one, and I advertise on a couple of them through a different ad network. The CTR for both my adsense and where I'm paying for advertising are both about 0.05-0.1%. You need serious volume to cancel out the low CTR.
