The term nicerolex is looking for is 'smart pricing'. If google gets feedback from your advertisers that you have low converting traffic, then they will pay less for, and you will get paid less for each click. Example is if you had averaged $.30 per click, you might get $.03 per click. It would be implemented on a site basis, not on your whole account necessarily. This won't happen with organic traffic. Those people wanted to go to you site. It would be more likely if people had been tricked into or forced into visiting your site. Also, you would still be seeing impressions, and getting paid something for your clicks. I think that blacklisting, or smart pricing is not the case. If your site had been penalized, you might be getting public service announcements, or white space. If your ads are showing, you should be getting impressions in your reports. I agree with the suggestions for new themes/layouts, but would first suggest viewing the source code on the internet for one of your pages and making sure your publisher id is not changed after you upload it. I know you have republished it, but what if the server is hacked and instantly changing it back. So look at that code to make sure people are seeing your ads.
code is correct i switched to default WP template all my other sites have ads giving impressions www.netentropy.com does not
I am going to have to. I mean it is not even showing up in my reports anywhere and the url channel is active.
1. Is your G.ads, allowed list, have this website url in it? or you use all allowed in list of the G.ads account? Check allowed list here 2. If above no.1 not solve, try not to use your WP widget to insert the ad code, use manually adding ad code to your sidebar.php, instead of using the widget text in your WP Admin widget. 3. In your G.ads account, check whether your code is active or not?
1. I had it set to allow all. I previously had it set in my allowed list along with my other sites. 2. The previous template had the code hard coded. I only switched templates and used widget to try something different. 3. it is listed as active
please visit www.adversal.com and create an account. Adversal pays based on impressions. You can use Adversal or another alternative to determine if Google is really short changing you. I can't really think of anything else to help your situation. I'm still sticking with the theory that you have been "smart priced"
The http://www.netentropy.com/blog link in your first post is what I looked at. It says 'Error 404 - Not Found', but the root of the domain works.
