$200 Uncoded Front Page

I'm looking for a good design for the front page of my main poker site xxwww.eatmystack.co.ukxx.

I'm looking for a magazine type front page design. You must include the logo but I'm open minded to the type of design.

Please include the following sections headers and leave space for at least a 50 word description for each.

Latest News
Freezeout League
Monday Night League
Poker Staking
Poker Freeroll World
Online Poker Results
Eatmystack TV
Rakeback / Poker Bonus
Hall of Fame
Advertisment
Advertisement (2 seperate spots for advertisers)

Here is my entry; I need to work on the 'Welcome' area some more and there isn't a navigation as such yet as I was unsure whether one was to be included? Anyway, here it is so far :

It's a large jpeg image mate, 600kb for the preview so it might take a while to load for some people. The background to the page is blue.

I like what you have done so far, here are my comments.

Not keen on the top of the design, and chance you can enclose more of the logo and the top section?

Online Poker Results - All I need for this is a small area as this will link to another. Could you use this section for "Eat My Stack Blogs"

I have many of my members who produce blogs with 3 poker tv presenter who are the main bloggers

Perhaps for the 3 above you could include a picture of them (from their blog).

Then leave the rest of the space where I could list another 20 or so blogs with links.

Perhaps the design should also have a status bar with the following options.

Freerolls
Poker Results
Poker Books
Arcade

Could I also have a section for "On The Rail Podacast" and room to enter some text about the current podcast content.

Also could I have a section title Forum Challenges and again space for text.

Any chance of making the design wider to 990px as this would match all other 100K pages.
