    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

200 sites and $1 per day each? Does this really work?

I agree, not only blog, but also if you use good niche, you can earn more than $10 from a site, providing you can drive quality traffic.

Managing 200 is difficult, start with 5 max and see the results. Don't be greedy, go for smooth and stable growth rather than spiky something.

well, the earning shall depend on the keyword, traffic and CTR, but not the number of the site.
That's no point if you have thousand website with 0 traffic

    YangYang,

I second 'Adpubster', build those sites one at a time till they get 200-300 unique visitors daily. If you must, build 3 sites until you can get them up to par with traffic. You can cluster your sites around various aspects of the same topic, that makes life easier.

It's also useful if they serve the same audience so you can cross pollinate on your own lists. Be warned, I have 72 active sites, 3 newsletter, and 5 blogs; I'm speaking from experience in saying more than a handful of sites can quickly become a full time job (and if you are just getting started, without the full time income.)

Also, don't just rely on Google Adsense, you need to have real websites with revenue and value on their own. Most of my sites had better CTR and revenues from Google Adsense when they started then you'll see a drop off until traffic volume jumps again. It's a quality game secured by multiple revenue channels.

    Best,

    Justin

You should build one site, quality site is important, more traffic and quality content is money.

    This is what i did:

I had 5-8 niche sites ready to launch. I chose just one of them. Created unique content, seo'd it, etc etc the usual stuff. Spent 2 years taking care of it, developing new links, new unique content.. etc etc

    Just one niche site.

Since last June-July the income grow up to $100/day almost every day, just as i got ranked #1-#2 for my keywords.

So my advice is: choose just 1 niche blog. ONE. Not 20.

It will be really hard to make 200 sites making $1 each. Making each and everyone of those sites and maintaining them will be quite tiresome. I think you should first start of with a few number of sites and see how it goes with them.

As everyone else said 200 sites is a bit extreme, even 100 is taking it a bit far, but I don't doubt that people do it.

I would more focus on 5 sites each earning a lot. It is better to have 5 great sites than 200 crappy ones.

    not. going. to. happen.

If you never had a website, making 1$ a day is probably the hardest. A lot of risk, not long term goal, you will spend a lot on domain names .... don't run

Try 200 pages....not 200 sites. Yes it will work, as long as you create good content and know "G's" policys. Don't put a bunch of spam out there or you will be wasting your time.

dude, i strongly suggest dont even think about it, having 200 sites, you wont even earn a penny, i agree to what Adpubster said, and that is very very important, take his point.

@Adpubster, that is a very good piece of advice from you. I wish i have known you some years back, so that i wont have done 200 sites loz, having no revenue at all. but guess what i have to learn the hard way.

and now i am doing what i have to do, and thats what exactly adpubster mention, working on it getting traffic day by day, earning more than what i used to earn having 200 sites.

i love what i am doing and i am being paid for what i love doing it.

That is what i called Adsense (making your life more at sense)

I have several sites already. Haven't updated them for half a year or so and the traffic never declines so I thought it might not be a matter if you updated a site frequently or not?

    What's your opinion?

I don't think that it is a good idea but you can create 4 to 6 sites in different niche and work on them regularly . Updating and maintaining 200 sites will cost you too much and if you don't started earning good money soon you will close this idea . but i would suggest to create less sites , SEO them all ... get good content and try to update them regularly.
