$200 Site Design: PSD Only

Basics Contest Info:

1. $200 Original PSD Design, no templates, I get exclusive ownership rights and all files in a layered psd.
   
2. The winner is to design 5-7 additional webpage templates based off of the original design for $30/page.
   
3. I prefer to pay with PayPal, but will pay with other methods if necessary, please verify first.
   
4. The contest will go for 5 days with right to extend 2 additional days if necessary.
   
5. Even though the contest may go on for 5 days, I may stop new entrants from entering after 2-3 days if I see there is enough talent and submissions to get a winner with feedback and tweaks.
   
6. Please post all submissions in the thread so all can benefit
   
7. DO NOT post a text link or a text of my company name, it is fine to represent it graphically on your designs.
   

Site Purpose and Topic

It is a real estate agency that only represents buyers. We do not "sell" properties. Therefore do not include "houses for sale"

Style of Site-

• Think about the coolest web 2.0 site and scrap it as old school. Break new barriers in design and call it Web 3.0 badass.
  
• Clean, sleak, modern, different, something that will leave an impression.
  
• I have included below 6 links for the main menu, and they are in order of importance, so therefore you can make them different sizes etc. I have noted that some menu buttons will have sub-folders in the future, but not now.
  
• Below I have included links to files to help you with the design and what I want. If you don't read them, then you will be wasting my time and yours. They are more complete than any other contest you have seen, so use it to your advantage.

1. Home (maybe no link in menu? Just click on Logo or pic? Will take your recommendation.)

Site Mechanics to consider-

• I would prefer that the page is a small to medium page so that it loads as fast as possible, but we can work around that if the design requires.
  
• I want some flash elements to give it a bit of pizazz but I don't want the site to be dependent or to look funny if the user doesn't have flash. If we need to pay a bit more for a flash guy, then just make me aware of it.
  
• While I want eye candy, the navigation must be clear and obvious to achieve the business goals of the site.

Ok, so I know that my specs on the website design may be overwhelming and many are procrastinating going through all of the specs to make a design, so here is what i am going to do:

I will pay the first 3 individuals that submit designs $5 each. However, your designs will need to be reflective of my specs so if you just put up a random design it will not qualify.

Feedback-

I have a soft spot for the nighttime skylines as well. But because this a commercial site, we will need to keep the design light and therefore I think that would rule out any nighttime skylines. Although if it can be used and still be a non-dark website then maybe but I don't think it will be possible.

So avoid a black or dark theme.

Don't have the navigation intrude on the skyline Picture. In this design, it should be on the side, or on the bottom of the skyline.

I like the transparency of the navigation and the drop down as well (please everyone else, don't put this in stone, as i want to see different navigation styles)

Let's keep the current color scheme of the logo as it is in the file.

Ok so the instructions are a bit overwhelming.

I will extend the offer to pay $5 for the first 5 entrants. So 4 more spots are available.

So you are basically getting paid $5 to read the specs of the contest.

Also to remind you, the winner will also design 5 more pages at $30 each so the total earnings for the winner will be at least $355
