I'm looking for a programmer who can install some kind of a search engine for my site that will take advantage of the categories, tags, and descriptions. Think in terms of digg or reddit type voting, it's for a social news site. I already have a working site, I just want to stop the page from completely refreshing back to the top. I have three cronjobs and only one of them works, I can't figure out why. My site has a bug with character encoding and few small changes I would like made. I understand the basics but need someone with a little more expertise. The programmer who helped me put the bulk of this site together has moved on with his degree he earned in college.
