@Fraz!'s: unfortunately yes, I am sure about the 70x70px.

This is the format in which I get the thumbnails delivered and up-scaling looks extremely bad. And when bigger sized images are down-scaled the page-load time is too high and I lose many visitors, and when resizing the image myself it costs too much to develop.

So, yes, I am sure about the 70x70px.

@calmx: I don't want to be rude so I am just going to ask you to read my requirements and replies in this thread...

 

@Fraz!: Thanks for the requested changes made, that I like, only I think I like the previous search box better as that one really stood out.

But no need to give me another file now, soon I will get some input from my wife, as she is much better at color schemes, etc. and after that I will let you know exactly what I want.

@lilianchen: thanks for your entry, but search box needs to be on the left, thumbnails need to be 70x70px and sorry to say that in general I find it very dark and depressing. Definitely doesn't make me feel good and doesn't make me want to book a hotel room.

A complete new and different design would be necessary to make it a contestant, sorry.

@alisa27: thanks, but it seems you didn't read the requirements in the opening and consequent posts...

Search box needs to be on the left, no need for "guests", the thumbnail pictures of the hotels don't look like they are 70x70px and sorry, but in general I also don't really like it that much, too boxy or something, don't really know, just an overall feeling I have.

It is time to announce the winners!

As usual it was very hard to decide, I really kept on including and excluding different designs the entire time, but cliche cliche, there can only be so many winners. I want to thank everybody for their hard work and here are the winners...
