We provide wholesale full color printing service for business cards and other printed materials. CMYK stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black which are the 4 standard colors used in four color printing. What is your target audience? The online wholesale printing market primarily consisting of retail printshops, print brokers, designers and webmasters. We do business only with printing providers and do no direct-to-end-user business. What style would you like your logo to be? Would you like unique text, an icon with the name included in it, an icon with the name next to it, an illustration, or a different style? We would like to see either designs that are an icon with the name next to it or logos that incorporate our name into the logo. Do you want any specific ideas implemented into your logos? We'd like to see the incorporation of the CMYK swatches into the logo, with some area(s) of the logo in 100% Cyan, 100% Magenta, 100% Yellow and 100% Black; be it in color squares, representations of drops of ink, the color of the lettering of CMYK, or in some other fashion. Please be creative. The "T" in today can be implemented as either lower or uppercase, depending on the flow of the design. What should come to a customers mind when they see your logo? We are competing with some other very large trade printers who already have an established market presence. In some way we would like our logo not only to emphasize that we provide CMYK printed products, but also the level of our service in terms of --FAST TURNAROUND-- and Product Quality. We'd also like to communicate our level of superior customer service, however, emphasis on Fast Turnaround and/or Product Quality is most important. Fast Turnaround is a very important attribute to us. Is there anything you would not like to see in your logo? Something simple is preferable to something ornate and complicated. How will the logo be used? The logo will primarily be used on the website. However, the logo must be cross-media friendly allowing us to utilize the design for printed materials such as Direct Mailers, Business Identity Materials, Signage, etc. The printing process utilized for printed materials is likely to be CMYK. Do you have any files or images pertaining to your contest that you want the designers to view? N/A What format do you want your logo to be designed in (ai, psd, corel etc..) We'd prefer vector art as it would allow for a greater level of creative modification in the future as well as the ability to enlarge/shrink to fit the applicable media, however, we are not limiting ourselves.
