The design is for c*h*e*a*p*a*l*l*i*n*c*l*u*s*i*v*e*h*o*l*i*d*a*y*s.*c*o*.*u*k we want this website to be special and really stand out from the rest. Websites we are looking to be similar to are t*r*a*v*e*l*z*o*o*.*c*o*m and t*e*l*e*t*e*x*t*h*o*l*i*d*a*y*s*.*c*o*.*u*k To start off we want the background to be of a holiday beach destination similar to t*e*l*e*t*e*x*t*h*o*l*i*d*a*y*s*.*c*o*.*u*k but not the exact same. We want a smart distinctive logo design that is easily recognizable. we want some where on the home page a Top 5 Holidays link that stands out maybe top right side bar... underneath this is we want a separate box with travel tips being the heading similar to t*r*a*v*e*l*z*o*o*.*c*o*m . In the centre of the page we want a search by destination tool bar with a list of all top level countries visible. Also we want a box where customers can enter there email to receive a weekly news letter of the top 5 all inclusive holidays that our websites offers, this is important and we want this to stand out to. Similar to t*r*a*v*e*l*z*o*o*.*c*o*m they have a top 20 holiday deals, top right of there homepage . The coulour scheme we want is aluminous(neon coulours) bright colours maybe deep purple and sky blue,2 disdinctive colours,we want this colour scheme threw the whole the whole of the design simalar to t*e*l*e*t*e*x*t*h*o*l*i*d*a*y*s*.*c*o*.*u*k they use purple and orange. last of all we don't want no square boxes on the design we want all round edges boxes or different modern designs, cartoon effect, again similar to t*e*l*e*t*e*x*t*h*o*l*i*d*a*y*s*.*c*o*.*u*k
The reason he's doing it is so the search engines won't pick up the domain names and advertise the websites as needing designs, etc. However you can do this by adding the names wrapped around #CODE TAGS# and they wont show up as links and anything in between these # # are invisible to search engines. I don't have a problem, you do. Your problem is that you don't know a contest works - atleast on digitalpoint. Here's how it works: When you see a contest thread, you read the brief (in the first post of the thread), and submit an entry following the specified guidelines in the brief. And once the contest ends, the contest holder (CH) will pick a winning design FROM the submitted ENTRIES and proceed to work with the winning designer. That's how it works. Just a friendly heads up from another fellow digitalpoint user.
