@ Plugzzzz, love the left nav although we won't be using %'s on this site, so you can remove the yellow area.

Will look to see how you finish the concept by adding an area for latest "tweets", a follow us on twitter invite icon, and news/blog updates in the bottom/main area. We can also remove the "how to signup for bad beat jack" area as it won't be used, but a strong first entry and I appreciate the hard work!

 

Any entries or revisions coming yet tonight? I'm trying to guage whether I should stay at the computer so I can provide quick feedback.

@ alygames, I really like your entry, it's very unique and really did a great job on incorporating the social media aspects we hope to leverage, the left nav is good and you have the general idea of the of the right nav, with an interesting color scheme.

I want to run this past my partner for further feedback, I'm personally up in the air on color scheme but this is just first impression.

 

@ Blizzard, love this entry. A few things we want to make clear though - this is not a rakeback site and there will be no mention of it, instead we are promoting "bad beat jackpots", so you could adjust your left nav to reflect that.

The color scheme is awesome, and the right nav is in line with our expectations - we'd ask for revisions only if selected as a winner.

One thing I'd like to see on your entry is to move down the blog post update area you have, to allow for some "static text" in that main area, with the blogging/news posts area and twitter feeds incorporated towards the bottom of the page?

Not sure if that request makes sense but this is DEFINATELY in line with what we are looking for, I can't wait to run it past my partner.

To DP - keep em coming? I hope to see at least 5 entries and we already have 3. I encourage the incorporation of adspace and/or video into any entrants just to get our minds rolling.

The revisions are good, the only thing I reccomend is change the title of left nav from "rakeback" to "Bad Beat Jackpots". I'll wait for a couple more entries and we'll get down to picking a winner - thanks !

A question was asked about what content we want on this one page design, I'll try to answer with a list.

1. top menu, blizzrd entry is a solid example.

2. left navigation menu - a list of rooms that offer bad beat jackpots, all entries so far have done this properly.

3. right navigation menu - advertising area for the current bad beat jackpots with room for five poker sites, the exact details of these graphics can be nailed down once a winning concept is shown, all entries so far are doing this just fine.

4. a main "body area where we will introduce ourselves, introduce our character "jack" and provide some general anchor text of 4-700 words for basic on page SEO. Introducting Jack and inviting users to share bad beat stories is an invited concept here.

5. a lower area with room to add updating news and blog posts, I imagine 3-4 of latest blogs would be shown for maybe a general area of 2-300 words of "updated content" (or rotated).

6. invition to follow us on twitter and/or facebook

7. possible area for an intro video?

8. DP creativity run wild, we're open to all ideas on encouraging user interaction and/or advertising jackpots at specific rooms. Im especially open to a creative concept that incorporates the "bad luck" of getting a "bad beat" with the once in a lifetime "good luck" involved with winning a "bad beat jackpot".
