happens all the time. In fact I know guys that have a 150 percent CTR on a regular consistent basis. Their tactics are somewhat shady, but it does happen.
Yes, that is what I was trying to say. So, I suppose when they back into your site again that doesn't count as another page impression?
I see. It's can be this: clicking different ads on the same page. I always thought that Google permits only 1 click per page view even the visitor clicked on all ads. This is getting dangerous, IMO. Yesterday I saw there were 19 clicks out of 20 page views. I emailed support desk to take a look, and they said they're closely monitoring the situation.
I remember a friend of mine had ads on his site that opened in a new window and so people who were new to the 'net double clicked on the ads!
Lots of times I get ctrs of 300% or 400% but only for specific pages that only get a couple of impressions a day or early in the Adsense day when all impressions, site-wide, are low. The ctr always drops as the day progresses. It's nothing to worry about unless you maintain an extremely high ctr with lots of impressions. If that happens, contact Google.
sometimes it happen in small site or site with small visitor thats normal.. not normal if your site with 2k visitor/day
200% CTR is not at all unusual for some pages, espcially if you are using Adsense link units. Visitors commonly click on multiple ads. However, 200% would be very unusual for an entire site with multiple pages.
