Contest $200 - $250 for design / developed website on Wordpress

Digital Point Designers / Developers


I am currently looking to hire a designer / developer to help me build a real estate blog using Wordpress. This is a real estate project and if done well could be the start of a harmonious relationship involving significant additional work as we move into 2012. The requirements are below:


Phase 1 - Target timeline (2-3 days) - Develop mockup of actual design for approval
- Design logo
- Design standard homepage sections (Title / Side bar / Footer)(Very similar to www.springwise.com / techcrunch.com)
- Design all subsequent content pages (4-5 types of pages)
- Obtain sign-off from me that design meets all criteria and can move forward into development
Payment - 25% of payment will be released once Phase 1 is complete


Phase 2 - Program design into wordpress (3-4 days)
- Install wordpress on my godaddy host
- Code / Program all webpages into Wordpress
(Programmer will need to be comfortable with installing and customizing plugins)
- Test webpages to ensure functional on all browsers
- Obtain sign-off from me that website meets all design requirements
Payment - 25% of payment will be released once Phase 2 is complete


Phase 3 - Training blog moderator (1-2 days)
- Spend 3-4 hours training Blog moderator to use wordpress for posts - via skype
- Explain basic architecture of wordpress to blog moderator - via skype
- Obtain sign-off from me that the blog moderator is sufficiently trained
Remaining Payment - 40% of payment will be released once Phase 3 is complete


PM me and I will e-mail you the low-fidelity wire frame and requirements. Again it will resemble wordpress.com / springwise.com. The target completion date for this project is December 31st.


Compensation will range between $200 - $250 for this project. If you are interested in competing for this project please submit the following


1. A sample of 3-4 websites that you have completed in WORDPRESS
2. Commitment of hours / week you will be able to dedicated to this project
3. Commitment to be available for phone conversations or meetings throughout the duration of the project

Hi all,

I encourage you to submit your portfolios and I will review them in advance. If your development capacity meets the capabilities that I am looking for, I can be flexible to negotiate. I just need to see what you can do first and we can work something out that can work for both parties!

Can we only submit a PSD design but 25% of that amount which is $50 is really low, the PSD itselft should be worth some $200
