the contest holder said, participate in Sitepoint not here in DP. I think we should submit entry in sitepoint and not here.
Thank you for the submissions. There are some brilliant entries and I really appreciate the effort people have put in. As I have clearly stated, can people please submit their entries here at SitePoint. Ariestoteles - great submission. The logo and the 3-D effect are original. However, unfortunately it does not have the Web 2.0 logo look we are seeking. Also the tagline is missing. bmR89 - once again, a good submission. I'm afraid the font and the arrow are not quite right. The tagline is missing once again. Sempai - good effort. Thank you. Unfortunately the logo does not look anything like the Web 2.0 examples we have linked to. We are looking for a more modern font/look. Eran-S - that is a lot better. Thanks. I will show it to my graphic designer. Ansi - I like your submission number 3 in your first post, with the arrow hitting the '[simply results]'. We'll definitely consider all your submissions are they are among the best we have received. funkymario - thanks for your effort. Unfortunately you have not adherered to our basic requirements. A-L E-X - great efforts. Very creative. We like the first two, but not so much the second set. In the first two, the icon is superb, where the arrow is pointing to a target. Thanks to everyone for their contributions. We appreciate the hard work and effort people have put in. There are some top notch designers here. Unfortunately we are not in a position to offer more feedback here. We spent over an hour writing and rewriting our requirements so that we wouldn't have to waste our time explaining what we needed and 70% of entrants at DP are not even bothering to adhere to basic specifications. One thing we'd like to clarify is that the purpose behind an arrow is for it to be hitting a target (signifying achieving a result) or going up (signifying achieving growth in revenue) rather than it just going anywhere.
