No, I would have to disagree. A person is not born Christian and not all Americans are Christian, period. America was founded by some Christians (not all were Christian then) and America has been known to be founded on Christian principles. You can look at the 1960's and on how non-Christian or even anti-Christian America is becoming.

Oh, just in case you are confused because of peoples names, the term 'christian name' means nothing, most English speaking and many spanish speaking cultures have 'christian names'

We are not talking about all Americans but the majority of Americans ...
surely you can not say that the majority of Americans do not have a Christian background.

    This is from Wikipedia.

Religion is a significant part of the culture of the United States. The U.S. is considered one of the most religiously diverse countries in the world, with over one-hundred different religions or denominations. The United States is also one of the most religious of those countries considered to be "developed nations." According to a 2002 survey by the Pew Global Attitudes Project, the U.S. was the only developed nation in the survey where a majority of citizens reported that religion plays a "very important" role in their lives.[1].

Most Americans adhere to Christianity. According to the 2001 American Religious Identification Survey (discussed below), 80% of the U.S. is Christian and 15% do not adhere to a religion. Other religions comprise 5% of the U.S. population. According to the CIA World Factbook, the U.S. is 78% Christian and 10% no religion, while other religions comprise 12% of the U.S. population. In descending order, the largest identified religious groups are Protestant (52%); Roman Catholic (24%); Mormon (2%); Buddhist (2%); Jewish (1%); and Muslim (1%).[citation needed]

    Here's the source:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_the_United_States

From this we can conclude that as many as 780,000 babies out of every million un-born babies in the U.S. are murdered by women from a Christian background. If abortion is not considered murder, then everybody is innocent. :)
If it's murder, then Americans are a blood thirsty people pretending to be better than everybody else.

Sure a majority have some sort of christian background in their families, or have been to a church sometime in their life, like on Christmas or Easter. None of which makes them Christian even if they were named Christian at birth.

I am not denying some 'Christian' women have had abortions. I know a few women who had abortions before they became Christian (born-again)

So, again, no not all NOR most Americans are Christian.

If you sit in a garage does it make you a car?

That is exactly the point Muslims are rightfully making. :)
The point is this: if Christians claim that THEY are the peaceful ones,
if abortion is murder, then Christians are perhaps no better than anybody else and in fact may be worse.

The thing is though there simply no priests calling for deaths of infidels in the UK, if a priest in the UK were to say such a thing he would be arrested.

Just imagine that; a white british priest calling for the beheading of Muslim infidels & occupiers:p

There are bad Muslims & bad Christians but there's a difference when the person who is bad is a religous leader;)

    Back to square one again.....

Christians (most Christians) are against abortion. Some feel that they can change things according to todays culture so killing a baby is ok because it isn't born yet.

But, you still must have missed the part where MOST Christians are against abortion. This is not a Christian thing, it is a non-Christian thing, being that I highly doubt Christ would say that killing a baby is OK whether or not the baby is born, in fact I think you would find that Jesus is for the weak, the oppressed, the helpless and defenseless.

So why do you keep saying Christians are murdering babies?

Now as far as Christians being worse than everyone else... you might just be right. I feel as a Christian, when I sin, that it is greater than anyone elses sin, since I know who paid the price for my sins. It is like spitting on Christ when He was on the cross. Thank goodness He knew me before He died (and rose from the dead.)

Who cares what the sentence is, if:
    • It requires FOUR witnesses to gain a conviction.
    • The four witnesses must be MALE
    • Any woman who comes forward and admits to being raped socially shames her entire family
    • Any woman who comes forward and admits to being raped opens herself up to legal prosecution
    • It does NOT require FOUR witnesses to convict the woman -- she can be convicted by her own admissions
Basically, a Muslim man can rape any woman he wants as long as he does it in private. He doesn't have to worry about legal prosecution because there are no witnesses and no woman in her right mind would tell anyone about the abuse.

Very good points. I forgot all about the legal BS hoops the victim must jump through. Usually the victim ends up getting punished herself. Very nice.
