To that we should add websites that mollycoddle the ignorant, prey upon the ignorance of others, and cause more problems than they solve be it by fat bloated code that does things the hard way, outdated methods and web rot, or even simple ignorance of the people running them or WORSE, the inability to take anything approaching criticism.

    Dynamic Drive
    Mootools
    W3Schools
    A List Apart
    Drupal
    SitePoint

Or just sites that are annoying clickthrough social networking bullshit - see Digg. (every time someone sends me a digg link, my response is "JUST LINK ME TO THE ACTUAL ****ING ARTICLE DILLHOLE" - Am I the only person that finds Digg links annoying and unneccessary?)

Or sites that have bad code themselves, so how can you trust them for code?

I'd say about 70% of what you listed should be what NOT to learn from.

    But hey, YMMV.

If you did then he needs to quote the orginal author??

OT but: Death Shadow do you think Social Bookmarking on the whole is pointless because people are telling me to use it but my audience will not have accounts on these sites (Digg and so on) So why bother putting the icon after every post? I do not fully understand how it works but even i don't have an account on these sites. This twined with the fact the links are nofollow makes it a complete waste of time for me i guess?
