    As far as the image replacement, my customer was set on using javascript generated by fireworks I believe.

    Also, about being valid all of these were until the owners used either modified the templates or used invalid code in wordpress except for the "/>" tags in the header of xhila (I take responsibility for that one).

    Another example would be my theme (currently for sale for links) http://www.skatepage.net/newblue/wordpress/.
    As you can see it is 100% valid.

    Lastly, If I code something and it is not valid I don't make you pay for it, everything is valid when handed over to the customer.
