Contest $20 Vector Logo design (48 Hrs)

Hi, i am looking for the design of a vector logo for a client. My client would like a logo for his new project called "Le Pont" which means the bridge in English. Le Pont is a social entrepreneurship training center for unemployed African youth. Le Pont offers training, mentoring, space for work, and loans. The client need a professional but simple logo.

The logo can be an acronym of "Le Pont" or a separate creation. The client is open to suggestion, thus there is no example proposed. The best design will win.

Colors: Client likes dark blue, white, heavy yellow

Logo will be judged on: integration of the bridge concept in the logo, uniqueness of he logo, color combining, simplicity of the logo, creativity.

@coolwanz Nice entry. Can you get rid of background, use white background. Also the integration of the bridge makes the logo look like a cartoon drawing, can you make it more real. Will come back with client feedback.

The concept is original but the person makes it disruptive. Get rid of the image of the person, uses shapes and whatever else

 

@coolwanz your design is much better now. Let me discuss with my client and I will get back to you. Right now you are using two colors, can you add a third color. The three lines on top of the word should have different color. Nice job.

 

@irah- I like your second entry better. It integrates the bridge concept pretty well. Can present a sample with three colors so my client can choose and provide feedback.

@3SS your design is unique, creative and it integrate the bridge concept, but it needs more color and maybe a little more sophistication and beauty. Two to three colors will be great. Try to change the font as well, and marry the Words with the Logo.

 

@topsniper nice entry and concept. I like the way you colors are combined in both the Word and the drawing. Can you somehow integrate the African map in it? Can you try putting the glob on top of the Words? Try to take to the next level.
