Hello all! I need a patch logo for a backpack. The backpack is meant to be used only for disasters (it is a survival kit). The brand is called Okami Pack and it is a lean start-up based in Japan. Okami (technically pronounced ookami/オオカミ) is the Japanese word most often used for WOLF. I would like the logo to be non-threatening, and artistically in line with where it came from (Japan). Nothing too complex or calculated- this is survival gear after all. The deadline is August 24th before 11:59 PM.
G-Venom- The designs seem to lack a professional edge; they appear very cartoonish. As this is gear designed for disasters, it needs to be taken at least somewhat seriously. I do appreciate your submission though. Edit: The latest one you submitted was better, but the font and moon look very out of place. Hayes- This is more in line with what I thought. I really like the the wolf in the O of Okami. I'm unsure about the moon "i" as a disaster can happen night or day, but very nice submission. I would like to see a few more as the deadline is Sunday! Thanks!
Hi All, one distinction I should have pointed out before. "kami" by itself, means PAPER. so if the "O" stands out too much from "kami", it looks silly. It looks like I manufacture paper (not survival kits). evodesign- I like what you are going for with the creativity (the tail), but too be honest, it does not look unique enough. The second logo (where the O is only half finished) has the dilemma of the "kami" being too apparent. Also, the wolf is too simple, but as mentioned, I definitely value the creativity behind it (full wolf in the midst of the word) massi1- This would be a great logo for a basketball team, but will not work for my brand. Thank you for the submission. Skaritza- I really like yours quite a lot. It has the simplicity that I value (essentials). Would you be able to provide this concept but with the wolf's head up in a howl? Deadline is still Sunday (August 24th at 11:59 pm)!
massi1- That font is too cheesy! Skaritza- That looks great. On second thought, without the line over the "o". For instance- Tokyo is actually Tōkyō...but I think it looks better without it. Thus far, yours is the favorite.
Hi all. The contest is now closed. I would like to declare Skaritza the winner. Simplicity was key. Skaritza, I have PMed you, please reply when you get a chance. I really appreciate everyone's entries. There is a ton of creativity on this forum!
