Hello, I need a nice and professional logo and favicon for my site. The site is http://www.socialrights.net. The logo should match the colours of the site. This does not mean that the logo should use the same colours, it should simply go nicely with the header background. Since my site deals with social rights, I would like a logo that somehow alludes to the concept of equality, worker's rights, social justice, etc. The current logo is just there to fill in the space. It alludes to the idea of equality with the "=" symbol, but it looks too institutional and almost reminds me of a credit card, so I don't want something like that. The favicon does not have to be the same as the logo, but it should be done professionally and retain the main features of the logo. The person whose work I choose will get paid 20 USD. Payment is through PayPal only. I will keep the contest going until I find a satisfactory solution. Both entries are on a good track to what I want. I'd prefer it if you showed me the logo here against the blue background of my header so I can see straight away how it would fit in. The colour code is: #4d94db.
here's my try: the 3 bars denote BLACK/WOMEN/WHITE are all of equal importance to a society...there height on tht graph is same...hope you get the idea if u like it...I'll start working on the favicon..u already must be having an idea what the favicon would look like feedback appreciated, as much effort has been put into it
good idea smith, only thing i dont like personally is the skill of that has been used in creating it. Looks very lowclass job. However the idea like i said is really good. Hopefully the Forum leader would like it.
Ok, I'll try to give you feedback. First of all, thank you all for putting in the effort, but I still haven't seen anything that I would like to place on the site. gipanuhotko, your logo is nice, but I'm afraid it does not suit my site really. It looks like a nice logo for a football club. The others, in my opinion you have too many elements in the logo. A logo should be simple. It can be an abstract object, it doesn't have to have human figures, especially not more than one or two. So far, I think Sabosushimi is the closest to what I'm looking for. I'm not sure about the colours though. Social rights include right to work, right to education, right to holiday with pay, etc... So I'd prefer it if you don't allude to the man/woman, black/white issue. Thanks!
Gipanuhotko, I really like your idea. Could you try to decrease the bold strength of the letters and perhaps decrease the size of the outline? Thanks.
Sorry to burst yah bubble. Just quite honestly i have seen that same design so many times i just find it boring... Gipanuhotko's one.
